David Thurow
David is a Principal at Prosono and head of the Strategy and Operations Services. He also has responsibility for business growth and development, internal process improvement, Prosono culture, and client relationship management.
Prior to joining Prosono, he was a Senior Manager and Employee Owner at two small Denver-based management consulting companies (ViTL Solutions and Breo Solutions) where he supported both government and commercial clients through major technology implementations, post-acquisition mergers, and marketing and sales strategy across the front range.
Prior to coming to Denver, he was a Manager at Deloitte Consulting, LLP. While at Deloitte he led large scale teams across the Department of Defense and Department of Veterans Affairs. At Deloitte he led one of the first Agile Development teams at the Pentagon and developed a rapid acquisition method that aimed at getting ahead and stopping improvised-explosive devices (IEDs) from injuring and killing American soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan. He also led Deloitte’s national veteran outreach, recruiting, and retention efforts as the executive lead for the National Armed Forces Diversity and Inclusion group.
Prior to Deloitte, he worked on the staff of the Chairman of the Committee on Ways and Means for the U.S. Congress and at the Office of Federal Procurement Policy at the Office of Management and Budget, drafting major federal legislation on invasive species and rewriting portions of the Federal Government’s Capital Programming Guide.
David obtained his Master of Arts in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College, 2016 Alumni of Impact Denver, 2020 Alumni of Leadership Denver and 2024 Colorado Governors Fellow. He also serves on the Executive Committee for the Board of Directors Colorado Outward Bounds School (COBS), a husband, a father of two girls and a fierce puppy named Rainbow.
