What Prosono was hired to do:

Serve Colorado hired Prosono to conduct a comprehensive Needs Assessment to inform their revised State Service Plan. Prosono worked with Serve Colorado to define areas of intended impact and design a methodology to collect qualitative and quantitative data. We helped Serve Colorado synthesize the main themes from the data, and evaluated the key findings in a series of strategic discussions. Leveraging the Needs Assessment, Prosono led Serve Colorado through a 3-month strategic planning process to develop a Governor-approved State Service Plan.

Outcome of the project:

As a result of its collaboration with Prosono, Serve Colorado made substantial modifications to its training program to align more effectively with the needs of their partners. The revised program was the first of its kind in the country to support a more equitable system for deploying AmeriCorps resources, recruiting more diverse members, and revising internal policies that have hindered inclusion. The culmination of the project was the successful development and Governor-approved implementation of a State Service Plan that would drive positive impacts across Colorado's communities.
